Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released an official recruitment notification for Apprentice Trainees in the Western Region. A total of 325 Apprentice vacancies are available under Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentice categories.

Educational Qualification

1. Trade Apprentice – Technical Trades

• Passed Class 10th / High School from a recognized Board.
• Passed 2-year ITI course in the relevant trade.
• ITI qualification should be recognized by NCVT / SCVT, as applicable.

Relevant Trades:

• Fitter
• Electrician
• Electronics Mechanic
• Instrument Mechanic
• Machinist

2. Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator

• Passed Class 12th / Intermediate.
• Fresher candidates must meet the prescribed marks requirement.
• Skilled candidates should possess the required NSQF-recognized Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate, wherever applicable.

3. Technician Apprentice

Candidates should possess a 3-year regular full-time Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized Institute/University.

4. Graduate Apprentice

Candidates should possess a recognized Bachelor's Degree such as:

Selection Process

Step 1 – Merit List

Candidates will be shortlisted according to the prescribed merit criteria and recruitment rules.

Step 2 – Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original documents for verification.

Step 3 – Medical / Other Requirements

Candidates may also have to satisfy the prescribed medical and other apprenticeship-related requirements wherever applicable.
